Stamp FAQ

How do I send in my wording?

Simply enter all of your information in the text box provided in each listing, using the listing example as a guide for what to include. If you have any questions or concerns about your wording, please email us at info@shopantiquaria.com prior to making the purchase.

How long does it take for me to get my stamp?

It typically takes 2-3 weeks to proof, produce and ship stamp orders. If you have a specific deadline for your order or need it rushed, please email us at info@shopantiquaria.com to confirm that your time frame can be accommodated prior to making a purchase.

Can I customize the size of my stamp?

Absolutely! Since each stamp is made to order, this is not a problem to accommodate. Email us at info@shopantiquaria prior to ordering to get an accurate quote since the size difference may or may not mean an adjustment in the stamps cost.

Can I customize the text of my stamp?

Yes! However, some designs are not as flexible as others. Be sure to inquire prior to purchase about the feasibility of your text change. Email us at info@shopantiquaria prior to ordering to get an accurate quote. A change of formatting or text may or may not mean an adjustment in the stamps cost.

Can I get my stamp shipped internationally?

We are happy to ship our stamps internationally. There is an additional shipping charge required and rates will vary depending on where we ship to. Please email your address to info@shopantiquaria for an exact shipping quote. For international orders, an invoice will be sent via Paypal with the updated shipping charge.

What if I have changes to my proof?

All grammatical corrections are made free of charge.

If you have design changes to your proof such as wanting hand lettering re-worked, there may be additional proofing fees. When artwork is hand lettered, each order will look completely unique (which is why we love it)! Since we are writing your information by hand and not using a computer generated font, there might be slight variations between what the sample looked like online and what your exact information looks like. If you have any specific requests about how the lettering looks, please let us know when you order the stamp. We try to keep our work as close to what you see on our website as possible but every name is unique and will look so when we write it out.

Can you make stamps from customer submitted artwork?

Yes! If you already have artwork you would like made into a stamp, such as your business logo, email us the dimensions you would like the stamp and we will send you a custom quote. Artwork must be submitted as a black/white PDF. For optimal results your artwork should be a vector based image with any text outlined.

What if my stamp arrives incorrect or damaged?

Before you approve the PDF proof we email to you, make sure to carefully proofread all of the information to be sure it is correct. Once you approve the proof, we are not responsible for grammatical or spelling errors. If for some reason your stamp arrives without the corrections you requested, email us immediately and we will send you a new one.

I’m having trouble getting an even stamp image, what should I do?

Getting good stamp results takes patience and practice.

A perfectly even stamp is tricky, there are often areas that are lighter/darker and sometimes areas are completely missed. To get the best results, make sure you are stamping on a smooth, hard surface. Apply even pressure by pressing straight down on the center of the stamp (with larger stamps we apply pressure around the base of the handle). Be careful not to over ink your stamp as this can cause areas to fill in or bleed.

Before you start stamping your project, make sure to practice first as to not ruin your special papers or envelopes. Always get plenty of extra paper to allow for some stamping errors.
